Both made from solid zebrawood, but one additionally lined with black & white ebony veneer. Closure clip from Wengé with a small iron screw inserted at the underside (sanded flush) that keeps the lid closed via a small neodymium magnet glued inside the case.

Very clever design Bernard! Endless opportunity to use figured wood and veneers.

I saw something similar as a wallet, made two, but they seemed awkward. Not able to be in the rear pocket.

Your use is great and practical. Have to see if I threw out the ones I made and if they can be modified to your design.
