I needed a solid base for my Kreg jig as the piece of plywood I had it mounted to had warped. Since I had an old sewing machine base sitting in the shop, I decided to build a box for the top of it to bring the jig up to a comfortable working height. Doing so allowed me to add a couple of drawers for storage and organization of screws and accessories.

Very nice project and very practical – if it wasn’t for limited space I had thought about something similar myself. Nice job!

Good idea for a work station. I like the sliding drawer on the right.

Thank you,
That came together on one of those rare occasions when I had some “spare” time and knew I had a pretty big cabinet job coming in that would require a bunch of face frames to be assembled.
