This another set I didn’t take many pics of. I wish I had more to show. It was for a teacher who commissioned it for herself for her retirement.

The Establishment side has a rotund cigar smoking King, a queen looking through opera glasses holding a martini glass, an accountant and a lawyer for bishops, Bentley’s for knights, a mansion for the rooks, and dollar signs for the pawns. Kings about 7” tall…pawns about 3” tall.

The Hippie Side has a Neru Jacketed king wearing love beads, jeans with holes and patches in them, in bare feet, flashing the peace sign, his queen is a hippy chick with a big flower in her hair, bishops are long haired guitar strumming musicians, the knights are the old ‘VW Bus’, the commune for the rooks and ‘Peace’ symbol for pawns.

Walnut and Maple for pieces and board, board about 25” square.

Nice looking set. You made excellent choices for the design of the pieces.
It adds another level of fun to the game.

Great theme – never would have thought of it.
