My wife got the idea to build a doll house for our grandkids. She got a big drawer from the restore. We designed it together and I divided it into floors and rooms not paying much attention to level or square; the kids don’t care. I added a roof, a fireman pole, a chimney, windows and a basement. She did all the painting.

Here is the living room:

As you can see we paid little attention to the scale the pieces. My wife collected most of them from the thrift store altho she made a bed and stove with Mr. Sculpy. I made a few tables and chairs using strips of thin wood and hot glue. We had some match box cars and action figures laying around from years ago.

And the kids loved it. We have a box of people, animals, and cars so they can have endless options for their imaginations.

This is so nice and I can’t imagine how much the kids love to play with it.

Great idea and I bet the different scales of the figures, furniture and cars adds to the creativity the kids will bring to the doll house. Love the chimney and fire pole. Great stuff.
