This is my first attempt at turning on my new Jet lathe. I had turned on an old Craftsman I had before but never really turned out anything, so this is my first useful turned project.
It is a chunk of poplar that I had laying around. It is stained and finished with spray lacquer.
It’s about 31/2” tall x 4” across.

-- I love the smell of Home Depot in the morning, it smells like.......carpentry. Bake, Bar Lazy U Woodworks, Lehi,UT.
