This is my first Welsh Spoon (and one of my first carvings!) which I was inspired to try based on Andy, The Brit’s great tutorial publish on Lumberjocks. Andy has been a fantastic support, holding my hand right down to the last coat of wax …. Thank you again Andy, and can’t wait to see your key project.

Now, this Welsh Spoon is off as a gift for my brother and his new wife.

That is so cool! I’ve never heard of a Welsh Spoon but now I’m off to learn about it. Then off to Andy’s blog to see if I have any hope of possessing the talent or patience to make one ;-P

Fantastic carving! Looks pretty complicated and demanding to make.
