These are night stands to match the bed I made a couple of years ago. They are a good size and really more
like mini bureaus. My husband wanted sideboards on his so stuff didn’t fall off. Not sure if they show up in the pics

My first attempt at using dados and hardwood strips for drawer slides. I’m happy with how they came
out.

Bevy, Your night stands match your bed very nicely and I like the sideboards on the top. I’m surprised you didn’t dovetail your drawers this time. You could have still done the dados and hardwood strips for the drawer slides. Good job though.

Its called tool addiction…I tried pocket holes this time…very quick and easy…dovetails are still my favorite
I’m planning a dovetail hope chest out of cherry

Bevy, Know what you mean by tool addiction! lol Don’t you just love that pocket hole jig? I spent months trying different things to do with that jig. I use it on assy. most of my cabinets and face frames.
Look forward to seeing your hope chest when done.
