Here’s a blast from the past!

Its a desk made out of hard maple with a veneered top of curly maple. The top is around 5 1/2” thick constructed like a torsion box. It had three pencil drawers across the front that were built it to it before the top went on. The drawers were made and installed and the fronts were applied and then the edge of the desk was then shaped using a router and jig made to cut a 5 1/2” radius.

The finish is just clear laquer.

I built this about 10 or 12 years ago or so. The pictures are scanned so sorry for the quality of the photo’s.

Thanks for having a look!

Hey Les this has to be an award winner, a fabulous design and outrageously good build.
