Here is the Air Force Symbol as a Retirement Shadowbox. I’ve been asked to build this design using many different materials. It holds a full size 3’x5’ flag. These are different versions that I’ve been asked to build. Thanks for looking. Enjoy! If you have any questions about this design or any of my displays, please feel free to e-mail me! I figured out a way to put little L.E.D light kits in my displays! To Order one for yourself or someone else, go to http://allamericanwoodworking.com/Contact.html

I’ve been thinking of making 1 for myself. That’s a nice one. I’d have to go with the old school chevron, this one is after my time. Thanks for showing it.

Now that’s a beauty of a shadow box. The oak and walnut were an excellent choice. Very well done! It looks like the glue up was lots of fun.

I was wondering what size this is and how deep it needs to be to hold a folded flag ?

That is a beautiful Air Force shadow box! I am approaching retirement myself and am in the market for a shadow box. Do you take orders or was this a one time thing for your friend?

The inside of the box is about 18”x21”. The flag tucks in real nice. It takes a 33”x33”x13” box to ship it in.
If anyone would like one, you can go to my website for more info. All Americanwoodworking.com

Dave did the version with the stand for me and when it was delivered all my family and I could say was…WOW! It surely is a thing of beauty and I highly recommend AllAmericanWoodworking for serious inquiries. Like someone stated earlier you get what you pay for and all I can add to that is you only get to retire from serving your country one time, you deserve something special for that retirement. Thanks Dave.

AllAmericanwoodworking.com Awesome looking shadow boxes! How is flag displayed on the one with the stand? Could you post a picture with flag in it? How long does it take to make one? I’m curious amd seriously considering one for my own retirement from USAF!! Thanks in advance for the info—-SupermanPunch
