Bread and butter work, I recently delivered a bunch of these French provinsial style side tables to a local interior designer. As it goes in our consumer driven world, cost was everything, so no fine joinery here…screw and glue and fill…legs and rails are Pine to keep costs down, tops are White Oak, finish is AC lacquer. Love the stuff for production work, spray, flat and spray in the morning, deliver in the afternoon.
This to show some people that not all is flash, to keep making a living at this game, one has to be versatile and adaptable, to take what comes. As long as we can work the wood….. (Sometimes I wonder why, but only sometimes!)
