First Humidor

This is my first attempt at making a box and or humidor. The sides and maple, the top and corners are Jatoba. And of course the inside is Spanish cedar. The design changed as I was making it because of a couple of mistakes but I am happy with the outcome. I am not finished with the finish but the camera and black backdrop were out so I thought I would just post it anyway.

The last picture is of a tray I made from scraps. The sides are maple. The inlay is fig maple surrounded by African maple. I had to add a couple of maple stripes.

Recently bought a couple of strap clamps on sale from Rockler. They do make life much easier.

Hopefully more to follow…........

That is beautiful…Much better than my first shot at a humidor!
