I built this furniture for one of our spare bedrooms for the kids when they visit. A combination bureau with desk and small bookcase. The platform bed with underneath storage. Materials used are MDF, plywood and poplar.

I like the bed, built an almost identical one for my little sister when she left for med school at Harvard last fall. She saw it in a pottery barn catalog for $1200, I built it for about $300.
