Yet another find in our foraging garage sales, thrift stores and flea markets. This one was $5.00 without a blade and pretty rusty. I know it was a sin to spray it green, but these are pretty common and I plan to use it , not sell it,so it suits me fine. I have to order a blade from Lee Valley, another $5.00. But I am still ahead of the game.

Most excellent. I hope you get lots of good use from it.

Good job – mine is green and that’s the way I bought it.

I have one with the japaning at about 60%. I would like to refinish it. What did you spray yours with?

Rikkor, I used a spray enamel that I had on hand. I don’t know the brand. Two light coats. Just make sure you get most of the rust off.
