Oval box Idea from Lars in Norway

3 months ago, Lars posted a great looking box so I decided to give it a try. While I think it will sell in the gallery, it was not of the caliper of what Lars did. Actually made 2, one of red cedar & other of walnut. 4 coats of arm-r-seal. Sanding inside of the box drawer opening was not fun.
The other 2 boxes are same style I’ve made before.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful and challenging shapes. I like various woods you used – great work!

All are very nice.

As I can NOT draw/cut a straight line without a great guide; I like the curved ones best!

Both very nice Wncguy, might I add a suggestion? Myself as a bandsaw box builder, by placing runners under the drawers it will center the drawers inside of the cavities making it look more appealing. Below is one of my projects to show how it would look.

Blackie, could you provide some details? It’s a problem I Sometimes have, too.

Randy – never question your advice & it’s really appreciated. I didn’t have luck finding the info from the link.
Can you help.
Thanks!
