Decided to build my own drill Press table and fence instead of buying one.

That’s really outstanding. I’ve got the same drill press. How did you secure it to the drill press table? I’ve got several ideas but haven’t settled on one I think is the best.

I just took the table off the drill press and drilled 4 1/4” holes in the metal table then layed it on the bottom of my built table and marked the four locations for screws, drilled pilot holes then drove the screws with washers. I was going to put threaded inserts and screw bolts in but that seemed like too much trouble to get the inserts precisely where I needed them.

Rich I ripped a 3” wide piece of 6/4 poplar I had laying around and routed a channel in it for the track. Painted it crimson to match the Incra color theme and of course my beloved Alabama Crimson Tide color
