I posted 3 pens I made for my son’s friends a little under a week ago. Well, here’s an Atlas pen I turned for him last night. He chose the blank, I chose the kit and made the pen.

Hope he likes it.

woodprof,

Would you mind if I made a suggestion? I’d really like to see your work but the pic is too dark to really see anything. Or maybe its just me and/or my monitor. If you don’t have a flash, then you could take it outside for the pic. Also you might try cropping a little closer. I’m sure you did a good job and I’d like to see it. :) I look forward to updated pics…

Nice job. This pen has a very classic look and I like it. Yesterday my buddy Chuck was in my basement shop and he gave me a private session on making pens… with a router and a jig (or course). Thanks again Chuck. Shortly I should post my first pen. Can’t wait!!!

Woodprof, down here your kind of pen, pinned in foam, are called DART. (as Jim mentioned, I couldn’t resist – but he said DARK).

Best,

Serge

The styrofoam is from my new 14” Rikon band saw. Serge, maybe I should have drawn a bullseye on it! LOL

Thanks for the comments, and I’ll post a brightened up version once I figure out all the kinks in posting a picture from Photobucket.

Have your say...
