This project has been done for quite a while now but I just realized that I had never posted it on lumberjocks…
This is one of six custom picture frames that I made for family members for Christmas 2009. They were a big hit when my wife and I presented them to our relatives on Christmas morning.
They’re made from MDF and painted with a semi-gloss black spray paint. Each picture can be changed individually (as you can see in the second picture…). I used a scroll saw to cut out the name and then build the ring of frames around it. In the frame in these pictures all of the letters except the “s” are cut from a single piece of 3/4” MDF.
