This is my 25th bowl. It was turned from a piece of Box Elder with a walnut spiggot glued into the back before turning. I hit the walnut when I turned the inside which accounts for the dark spot in the center. This is a gift bowl for my sister in law. I know this was a while back, but, I’m fairly new, and I’ve been usin the shuffle method to look at projects like yours. I really like the look of the red grain patterns in anything with Box Elder. How is this wood to turn? Keep on turnin
