Cornhole Boards (with a little twist)

A quick, fun project made from borg pine and birch plywood. Joinery is simple pocket hole screw.

The little twist i added was some 1/2” armaflex insulation that we had laying around the shop and the adjustable legs. The insulation keeps down the drum effect when the bags land. The legs ride on t-track which allows them to slide back and forth. This lets one corner or the other to be raised to make up for slope.

The uconn logos were printed out on vinyl. Finish is a mixed coat of transfast dyes, 4 coats of gloss arm r seal and a buffed coat of beeswax/mineral oil.

Ya gotta put some arc on your throw. These boards are slicker than whale turds.

Cut above the average cornhole board – for sure. Good work, Sir.

Well done! Makes my plastic store bought (I didn’t) ones look like whale turds.

Fowling looks like it would leave me with a dangling arm. Only so much pigskin chuckin left in the old wing.

Upscale cornhole boards for sure. These for your own consumption or gifts?

Theyll be staying with me Lys. Likely until i get the itch to build a dovetailed set with walnut ply … or some curly veneer.

Whoa, don’t let my wife see this post. I’m supposed to be making some of these in the next couple weeks. Not planning anything quite so high tech:)

The sound deadening feature is brilliant! And this is certainly a front runner for July’s ‘Best Use of T-track’ award (you’ve got my vote). Well done!
