Made this for my son-in-law 32th birthday.

The ends are 3/4” maple, sides are 1/2” maple, bottom is 1/4” baltic birch plywood, 1 inch dowel for the handle and I turned the handle ends out of a scrap piece of walnut I had lying around. Finished it with shellac (I was running out of time!!!).

All glued together, no metal.

All the maple came from an end table that was being thrown out by a friend (same end table i used to to make my sons tool tote).

First time I used my new branding iron, worked better than expected.

This is a nice and practical wood tote. Nice work.
