I made this picture frame for a close friend. It will have a hard board backing then wine corks glues in like on of my other projects posted.. It was made out of Maple and Purple Heart. I laminated the purple heart in then use Tung Oil to bring out the grain. I paid close attention to the grain orientation like taught on here to ensure boards went back together respectively. See I do listen Jim & Degoose… LOL… I made a miter jig for the table saw as well.

Well, it looks like the jig works perfectly. Really tight miters!!

Love that tiger maple, the grain really is impressive.

With a frame that size, it’s probably going to take more than one evening to collect the required number of corks ;^)
