This is my little dude’s first wood project he made in the garage while I fiddled with learning how to make a box.
He wanted every cut off I had and used a plastic mini stick as his guide, hand sanding the edges and rounding the blade after I helped attach it. Then he added the decals. Needs a bit more fine sanding and some clear-coat next.

His minor team was the Spitfires and the Windsor Spitfires just won a second Memorial Cup for Canadian Junior Hockey.
My son is not a big Canuck fan like me as his pj’s show…...a hated Habs fan :)
I have a fondness for Spitfires, P50 Mustangs and Merlin engines hence my avatar and his minor team name that I helped coach.

That’s awesome! It looks like we have a future worker of the wood! I look forward to seeing more of his projects.

He looks very proud, tell him to keep it up. Looks like you will have a lot of great times together in the shop. Good for you Dad. Thanks for sharing.

This is what he is usually up to.
Cedric is an awesome 8 yr old. He has ice water in his veins, no nervousness at competition, kindness and humility and intelligence beyond his years. He is a dream to coach in any sport and excels in most of them. He is a full on lefty in all areas.
One cool little dude.
