I have been reading and looking at a lot of boxes on this site and decided to try some of the techniques. First I had to make a couple jigs for my table saw. A new sled for cutting 45 and a jig for cutting the slots for the splines. Both copies from this site (Box Guy’s). Thanks ! Lots of good tips on your builds.

Its made from purple heart and maple. I attempted wood buring her name in the top, I’m not sure I like that or not ? Oh well, she’s young, I can always build another.

Thanks
Ben

Looks great. I really like the contrasting wood and the mitre spline as an accent. Nice job.

Have your say...
