Dove Tail Puzzle box

This is a box I modified from the original plan by Mason Rapport to suit my own needs for a tool box
There are no locks just a simple dovetail mechanism to slide to make room for the dovetailed keys to slip through.
Lots of fun to make and learn from.
My aim is to make things which are new and challenging and still serve a purpose.
The handle is from wenge oak and mahogany strips which were bent and glued in a form.
The box wood is from some pallet wood found in the shop. The top is Cherry, dowels and plugs are maple.
Key ways are walnut and purple heart.

Great tool box! do the sides come out one at a time, or is the bottom dovetail lock two pieces?
Fantastic!

Scott: The lid is one piece attached to the two dovetails which slide down into the dovetail key which runs thru the bottom.

Great project, it could take awhile for someone to figure out the secret of the sliding dovetail. Thanks for sharing with us.
