I have long admired the incredible projects I have seen on this site. I was excited at the thought of posting one of my project here. After retiring we moved to the weeds and after many years saving and dreaming of having a shop I built one.

With the impending birth of my newest grandson, my daughter asked me to build a dresser/changing table for his nursery.

I found the drawer slides and drawer width to be an issue…. but in the end, this is what I built.

I realize that by yall’s standards it is rather simplistic but for my first project I think it did not turn out half bad.

That looks really nice. Hopefully your grandson will be able to use it for many years to come.

Looks great and by any standard – I really like that color on it. You’ll have one proud grandchild in the future. Congrats!
