Finished my largest walnut bowl to date this past week. It has some nice crotch and sapwood highlights mixed in. It’s just over nine inches in diameter. I turned it on my Nova 16-24 lathe while wet back in August of last year. Stored it in a shaving filled grocery bag until recently and it finished up nice. i like using Myland’s High Build Friction polish. I get it at Woodcraft.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful wood and nice finish. Figured Walnut is my all time favorite wood.

That’s one beautiful bowl. I like the mixed highlights.
