I have a couple of friends that helped me out and I wanted to do a little something to show I appreciated their help. I had some scrap wood that I thought I could make something out of so I glued a lot of the smaller pieces together to make the top. Planed them down then glued them to the top. Cut the top for the lid added some hinges and there you go. Put some splines for strength. Thanks for taken’ a look.

Nothing is more fun then making boxes, or make a better gift. Made from scrap wood makes them even better, they become beautiful and original. These are very nice!

Thanks for the kind words! scrap wood is fun to use but it sure takes a long time to turn into something usable. :)
