Daughter's Table

This is a table I made for my daughter about 5 years ago. She has four kids, very active kids, and wanted a sturdy table that would hold up. Last week during our visit the grandkids managed to break a limb on a tree, put a hole in the dry wall and one of my grandsons fell and cut his chin, took 8 stiches. The talbe is made out of poplar and is constructed to knock down for easy moving. It has been moved a couple times. The legs are painted and the top and bench tops have a couple of coats of tounge oil and several coats of Poly. I decided to post these pictures to show how well the table has survived my grandchildren.

That is a great looking table. Looks pretty sturdy and from the sounds and looks of it has survived well.

Thanks all!

I wasn’t sure how the poplar would hold up but has worked great.
