After making something for the shop, my uncle and a coffee table for myself, my mother decided she should be next on the list (and after letting my father and I buy a shed, and about 20 power tools she deserved a reward). So we build her two cabinets for the mudroom/laundry room. They are replacing a very small (and ugly) metal cabinet that has seen better days. We were able to design a bar between the two so my mother can hang things up as they come out of the dryer (I would say so that whoever is doing laundry can use them, but in reality, its my mom, thanks mom!!)

Nice cabinets. Either your dad has done some of this before, or you guys follow plans really well. :-)

Nice cabinets. A good way to learn woodworking is by building things you need. I bet there will be more of those in the future.

I did something like this with our laundry room. Placed a cabinet on each side of the window with a steel shower bar between the two for hanging clothes. Works great. Good idea Stephen! Bet your Mom loves it.

For a shed and 20 power tools, you got a good deal! I’ll take a deal like that any day.
Nice job.

Nice cabinets. Mom should enjoy the convenience and beauty of the cabinets.
