As promised the steps to carving a wooden boot are shown across 5 pictures. Sanded and sealed with a French polish the boot components are ready to re-build the boot.
Wood species – I think it is spruce. A chunk of wood I found in the neighbours fire bin. Now the boot has made it to the mantle above the fireplace.

All I can saw Roman after looking at part one and part two is WOW Sir…
Seeing the “how you did it” just makes the end results so more impressive!!

Will have to give it another go, When I am home for any length of a time. in Ontario but flying to Alberta later this morning. Nicely done boots.
