Some of you have been following my blog about my attempt to make a new handle for an old dovetail saw. Well I finally finished it tonight. I am pretty proud of how this turned out. The two woods are honduran rosewood and beech. The last picture is the before photo of the original mahogany handle.
Check out my blog at http://lumberjocks.com/docholladay/blog to see the progress as I went through this project.
Also, if you want to see more photos, they can be seen at photobucket http://s870.photobucket.com/albums/ab265/docholladay0820/Tool%20Pics/
I hope you enjoy.
Thanks,
John

Great job. The Honduras Rose should last a life time. I turned a bowl from Honduras Rosewood, was a tuff turn. I learned a lot turning a hard wood like that.
