I got a new to me grizzly drum sander. I had to try it out. I ran a rough sawn pecan board through it that I laying around. When I got it sanded down smooth, I thought it would make a great top for a hall table. I found a great set of plans from https://www.canadianwoodworking.com/plans-projects/build-gorgeous-hall-table I modified it to fit my top and changed up a few things. I filled the cracks with epoxy and copper shavings. I used some walnut that I had on hand for the base. I used my festool dominoe to make custom table top clips and slots. I topped it off with several coats of Waterlox. It did not last long. I posted some pics on my facebook page. My friend had to have it. I was happy to sell it

Hi,

The color contrast between the top and base is cool!

Love the table
