Cherry slab top bench. Mini 1/12

Just finished this one tonight. This is a 1/12 dollhouse scale bench. The top is cut from a cherry stick I found in the yard. The base is Walnut. All surfaces were hand planed smooth, and finished with wipe on poly. 1.1 inches tall.

I like the design a lot – Maybe I’ll attempt a full size version when I eventually dry out some large slabs..

That would make a neat full size bench. I have some huge poplar slabs I’ve been saving… cool. Nice work!

Very clever use of found material. I can’t imagine having the patience to do something so small so well that it would stand up to close scrutiny.
