about 20 years ago I made 5 or 6 crossbows at the request of friends.. I thought I would make some money making a few extra so I stocked up on prods.. it’s taken @ 20 years to get a request for another one. so I’m selling my leftover materials…

this one is a beech stock with purpleheart scales where the wood needs to be a bit thicker, forged iron tickler and stirrup. @ 75 lb draw. linen bow string and artificial sinew to hold the prod in place.

I used a bandsaw and a drill press for this project. the wood materials were previously s4s, I used hand planes and scrapers to produce the final surfaces.

the Prod was purchased from a commercial supplier who has since stopped making them.
