I picked up this old ECE plane at a market for 2 euros. It was water damaged but well dried out. The sole had separated in some locations and a few cracks in the body. The blade was very rusty. I cleaned the body, filled the gaps with CA glue and dust from flattening the sole on a sanding sheet. Cleaned the blade, sharpened it and oiled the body. This plane works beautifully, especially when pulling it instead of pushing :) It was much worse condition than the images show as I started to take pictures late into the restoration.

Nice restoration! Is it a pull plane with the tall handle on the front?

Thanks Jim :) Yes, I’m sure it is a pull plane, although it feels comfortable using it both ways :)
