I was given this Jointer Plane around one year ago. It had been lying on the ground in a metal scrap yard and would have been destroyed. I cleaned it from the dried in mud using a scotchbrite pad, then coated it in boiled Linseed Oil. The blade was a bit rusty, but after cleaning and sharpening it works great :) I really like giving these old tools a new life.

Great restoration in the old jointer.

What is the makers mark on the blade? Looks like Two Cherries.

THanks for sharing.

Hi Bill,

It is Two Cherries. The mark was invisible before I cleaned it up. I know most of these old planes I have collected are German in origin.
