here is a picture of a console table i was commissioned to make by a customer i do a lot of business and work for i made it from reclaimed barn lumber i salvaged when i help take a barn down the top is made from the main beam in the barn that was 18×18x54 ft long i cut it in sections small enough fit on a band mill and had them re saw the beam into slabs the top is 2.5 inches thick by 24 inches wide the finish is a Bombay mahogany satin poly shade finish it sold for 250.00 all hidden fasteners except for a few let me know your comments thanks

Glad to see the repurposed wood. Looks like you could park a truck on it and it wouldn’t even move. Got to love a single board that is 54 feet long. Too bad you couldn’t figure out a way to use it without cutting. You just don’t see boards like that any more as we have cut almost all the old growth stuff.
