Hey, guys! I made a lathe stand with tons of storage for my JET 1221 lathe. Loving all the extra space this thing gives me.

If you’d like to see the full build video or get plans then you can see them at: http://fixthisbuildthat.com/diy-wood-lathe-stand-plans/

Thanks!
Brad

For some reason building a good working stand for my tools is something I just never get around to. I am forced to do it now since I have redone my shop and need a few. Thanks for showing what you built

That is a very nice cabinet. Good work, will give you years of service and make a great addition to your shop.

This is a very nice lathe base. It’s beautifully done and has a lot of storage. This is a great addition to your shop.

Great job, I built one as well. Mine was once that clean lol. The bad news was my mentor ( a guy that has turned thousands of bowls immediately said ken your lathe its to high ). I needed to make a base to stand on or make a new stand. I welded one up and use the cabinet next to the lathe for accessories.

My bowl turning instantly improved with the correct height. Good luck, nice work.
