This is my Ross style with some extra features. This one was competed in May 2010. It is built in maple and with color I call a Golden Birch stain. It is a custom mixed color. The verticals of the bed and the outside verticals have a chamfer cut in them that stops 5 ½” from the bottom and 2 ¾” from the top. Another thing that is a little different about this bed is the bookcases. The door was dropped down to leave a lighted display area on top. This is also the deepest bed I’ve built. My normal depth is 16”. Occasionally I’ll build a 20”. This one was 23” with bookcases of 20”. To take up that extra space on the inside I added a 8” shelf style headboard. Minus the extra depth, I built one similar to this before

I called this one “Bermuda Bound” because that is it’s destination. Luckily I don’t have to worry about arranging the shipment there. I sold a Boat Bed to a customer in Qatar. (here is a picture of that boat bed: I had to do research on shipping that one and the regulations were too overwhelming. I ended up shipping that one to a freight forwarder and they took care of the rest. That is what I plan on this one. It will go to New Jersey first.

I really like this one. Being deeper, it gives you a lot more storage. Thanks for posting.

God Bless
