This is my first post…getting my feet wet with this one…
This dining room wanescoat project is our new home (currently under construction) where I have served as the GC/master of many projects since the start last Dec. Pictured first, I used 1/2 ply as the backer for the wanescot. Drywall was placed above the the 1/2 ply. Colums boxed out with poplar and mdf panels cut raised panels finish the colums. Entire project to be primed and painted soon I hope! Glad to be welcomed into a new ww community. thanks for looking.

Great job. I did something similiar in my house in NJ before I sold the house. MDF sure did a job on the raised panel router bit.

Looks great and I’ll bet you’re having a blast doing most of the work. At least you’ll know that it’s done properly. Gonna look real nice too. Keep us posted.
