finally hung a memorial plaque i carved to place over the burial site of our dog and cat who passed away a few years back. We planted a rose over the site about a year ago and my wife wanted a plaque to be hung over the rose. Carved this out of tigerwood, something I’m not sure I want to do again, might as well take up rock carving (although tigerwood has excellent outdoor properties, though I understand it well get weathered). Burned the paw black to make it pop a little better. Put 2 hooks in under their names to hang their tags on.

oh and for those that noticed the tomato garden and are a little squeamish about burred animals, the planter box was added about 3 years after they passed, they are deep enough and their is a barrier down, hope that comforts anyone that needed it :D

A beautiful and nicely crafted memorial. Well done.

This is a very nice pet memorial plaque.
