My wife mentioned that my son Alec had a great time playing with a toy wheelbarrow at the neighbors. Like any good Dad I started thinking how I might build one for him to use around the yard. I ended up with the garden style for the stability, Alec is only 2 1/2. I used Maple plywood for the body, Spruce 2X for the handles, Treated SYP for the wheels and bolts for the axles. A few coats oy polyurathane to help protect it from the elements.

As usual I did the design in Solidworks.

Great project. Hope he enjoys it.
