I recently made 20 wooden guitar picks guitar picks out Olivewood. When Olivewood picks are combined with Watco butcherblock foodsafe finish, the result is beautiful guitar picks!

That wood is awesome. I made some back a few years and a friend told me that different woods for the picks make a difference in the tone.

As far as the sound, I’m not sure. This is the only wood iv’e used for them so far.

Those are sweet! As a guitar player myself I can appreciate this project! Would like to try it myself some day. Are they in various thicknesses or all the same? Awesome job!

t is the thickness of your picks, 73mm perhaps?

Thanks! They really vary, i’d say they are on average 75-90mm.
