I made this toy handsaw for my son :) He’s 2 1/2 years old. In between playing, he stands in my workshop doorway and watches me working, so I plan to build a play workbench and tools to put in the doorway. This was a 15 minute project from a piece of Maple firewood. I didn’t measure anything, just shaped in on the bandsaw and belt sander and cut the handle out with a jigsaw then added to pieces of dowel for effect :)

I like it, I’m sure that you’re son loves it. Soon he’ll probably be in their making things on his own before you know it

Nice work I bet your son sleeps with it under his pillow!

Dont say anything but I wonder if he spots the handle is backwards?

It’s a very nice toy saw and the kids will love it.
