This was a fun project. I am really liking the segmented work. This piece has 73 pieces in it made of walnut and maple. Thanks for looking.

Your top is a real winner. How big is it? Is the finish friction polish? I can’t imagine how long it took to glue up the blank. Do you sell them? Do you get your money’s worth with these?

Terry—The top is 2.25” diameter and 2” Tall, I used a friction polish. I have not sold any tops yet. Anyone sell tops willing to tell us what you get for yours?

Jonathan—Whe the top spins it looks like a beige top spinning with 4 faint circle lines. I suppose with a strobe light the checkering would show up.
