Plate 51

On Lumber Jocks someone asked if anyone has seen a UFO. With all my work in the out of doors, I have never seen a UFO or crop circles. I thought about this when turning this wallnut plate, so I burnt a crop circle on the rim and named it Plate 51. The finish is lacquer.

Very nice bowl.

Nice crop circle. I see all the planets are in alignment also.

At first I thought your UFO story was going to involve a wood launch from your lathe! The plate is very pretty – well done!

Very nice plate. Someone viewing it without your explanation, I think, would be pushed to identify that pattern on the rim, bothered by how familiar it must be.. crop circles. Great!

I love the accents. Nice style with just the right amount of restraint!
