Here is my first attempt at a segmented piece. This is when all of the planning can go right out the window. The third row from the top was not cut square, I don’t know what happened. Operator error I will assume. It was glued together before I noticed. I went with a rook shaped piece to finish off the geometric look.
Wood used is walnut, maple, mahogany, and canary. Finish is several coats of shellac, sanded between coats.
