So I really had to do something for my closet, all my electronics where all over the floor to the point you couldn’t walk in it. So this is what I came up with.

Didn’t draw any plans, just took the tape measure to figure out dimensions needed and started cutting some wood.

What I thought would be cool, was to add a hidden compartment on top of dresser. So when I need to add or change things. I can easily access cords/ power supply all without moving the whole unit. It also serves as nice cable management, so a bunch of cords are not visable from the front.

The electronic in dresser:

Modem/ router

16 port Ethernet switch (Ethernet for network devices in unit and also ethernet going to jacks throughtout house)

HDMI Matrix (I have my Tivo, computer and Roku connected to it, which I can send to any of the 4 TVs in the house. I ran HDMI through the walls before drywall went up, which are going to each TV)

Slingbox

NAS and external hard drive for computer

Label maker (which connects to computer and I can print labels from software on comp)

More to come lol

It’s a very nice electronics cabinet.
