A couple of gifted perfume pens. Kingwood (one of my favorite woods to turn and look at) and Cherry. Neat project to make and surprisingly enough, the seal will hold when full. The sponge is made of a closed cell material that soaks up essential oils or perfume so no mess ensues by trying to pour it in. Because essential oils are so concentrated and will ruin most finishes on wood I used acrylic for those intended for oil use (not pictured). About 3/4 the length of a standard pen, these fit nicely in a womans purse or wallet. I won some brownie points on this one!!!
