An extension of my plum wood supply. In cutting out the pattern I had more live edge to play with and in the middle upper half of the vamp, an eyebrow and eye popped out.
Had pictures taken at our local bird sanctuary. It was badly damaged from the flooding of our Bow River a few years back. So there are a lot of logs lying around waiting to be made into boots. The boot was happy with it’s surroundings during the photo shoot, almost hear the murmurs…... from whence I cometh!!!!

Enjoy!

The Bootman again!

TOTALLY AWESOME Roman, I love the natural edge.
I can feel it looking at me from way over here.

Bob.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

One nice thing about it, Roman, everyone of your boots is full of character. Nice work.
